In conjunction with the renewal of KAPITAL Kyoto, a wooden sculpture was installed in the courtyard. Made from Tabu wood logs, the sculpture takes the abstract image of a bird, which is a motif in the store's design, and brings it to life in three dimensions. The rough finish, with the marks left by the chainsaw blade, gives the piece a strong and playful atmosphere that can be seen across the counter.
